HARD
One of the areas of application is the processing of polypropylene raffia. Here, additives are added to the material which have an abrasive effect on the blades.
In this case, the MARATHON coating ensures that the blades are resistant to wear and tear for as long as possible. A micrometer-thin hard coating gives them a high resistance to wear with a very low coefficient of friction (approx. 0.1 against the reference material steel).
