Order Management Specialist  (k/m/r)

Order Management Specialist (F/M/D)

Your Responsibilities

  • Handling and actively monitoring the full ordering process (from order entry through final delivery to our customers worldwide)
  • Disposition, timeline planning of orders, and ensuring full transparency on order status and deadlines
  • Daily cross-department collaboration (e.g., sales, production, logistics, finance)
  • Proactively communicate order changes to internal stakeholders and resolve order-related issues to maintain customer satisfaction and ensure smooth processes
  • Managing transport by preparing transport documents and cooperation with freight forwarders
  • Updating and maintaining customer, product, and order data in the system
  • Creating invoices

Your Qualifications

  • Relevant professional experience in order management, logistics, supply chain, or customer service - ideally in the metal processing industry
  • Bachelor’s degree (in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field) Experience in disposition would be desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), experience in ERP will be an asset
  • Fluent in English, German (at least intermediate level) would be an advantage
  • Customer-focused mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to work in international environment
  • High accuracy, detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel (including onboarding in Germany)

    Video interview
    In a first meeting we get to know each other better. We learn about your background, motivation and future goals. At the same time, you have the chance to learn more about the advertised position and LUTZ as an employer.

    Get to know each other in person
    We get to know each other even better in person during a second meeting on site. You will get to know your direct manager and have ample opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your tasks, your future team and the company. Depending on the position (for example, manager), we will invite you to an assessment center.

    Decision & contract conclusion
    If we could convince each other, we are happy to welcome you in our team. Together we will go through your employment contract.

    Onboarding - welcome to the team!
    On your first day of work, we will schedule a tour of the facility so that you can gain initial orientation and get to know your teammates. An induction plan drawn up individually for you will help you to quickly familiarize yourself with your field of work and get to know all the processes, procedures and interfaces that are important for your position. An experienced mentor will accompany and support you throughout your induction period.
