From contract grinding shop to global company<\/h2>\n\n

Age doesn’t really matter – if you move with the times.\nAnd that’s exactly what LUTZ BLADES has been doing for more than 100 years, which we would like to show you with a short threat video. <\/p>\n\n

It all began in 1922 when Emmi Lutz founded a contract grinding shop in Solingen-Wald that focused exclusively on the production of razor blades.\nWith the increasing demand for specialized cutting solutions, the product portfolio was continuously expanded.\nIn the 1950s, we started to produce industrial blades for various industries.\nAnd to increase our manufacturing capabilities, we moved to Wuppertaler Strasse in Solingen-Gr\u00e4frath. <\/p>\n

In 2020, the next logical step was taken: the move to our modern new building in the Piepersberg industrial estate in Solingen-Gr\u00e4frath.\nToday, we have around 13,000 square meters of space for production, storage and administration on a 25,000 square meter site.\nAnd the 175 employees who work on site feel completely at home here. We would like to show you why this is the case during a short flight: Join us on a drone tour over the Piepersberg and see how much the new LUTZ BLADES site harmonizes with our corporate philosophy and the surrounding area.<\/p>\n\n
